Occupational Readiness Evaluation or Functional Return-to-Work Assessment

Fitness for Duty Evaluation

A fitness for duty evaluation is an assessment designed to determine whether an individual is psychologically, emotionally, and/or cognitively capable of performing essential job duties safely and effectively. These evaluations are often requested by employers when there are concerns about workplace behavior, mental health, or the impact of stressors on job performance.

Return-to-Work Evaluation

A return-to-work evaluation assesses whether an individual is ready to resume work duties following a medical or mental health leave. The evaluation considers the individual's current psychological functioning, coping capacity, and ability to manage workplace demands, with the goal of supporting a safe and successful transition back to employment.
